Our friends at Nashville’s Mix 92.9 FM morning show asked Mindy to share her secret to making the perfect Thanksgiving turkey. If you know Mindy you can probably hear her laughing right now. See, Mindy doesn’t believe in perfection. Which is good, because it doesn’t exist. Especially when it comes to turkey.
Mindy says keep it simple and just (a) follow the directions on the package (they actually work), (b) spend time making great side dishes, including cornbread dressing, a big batch of gravy, and a bright cranberry fruit salad, and (c) find the perfection in spending time with friends and family throughout the holiday season and all year long.
